Education: Apply For Research Studentships    

Before applying please read these instuctions carefully
(You can print out this page using the browser print menu)

  • You will need a valid email address in order to apply - the system will use this email address as your username, so please ensure it is correct.
  • You will be able to save your application at any stage and then come back to it later.
  • The recommended browsers to use are Internet Explorer version 6 or FireFox version 1.

The form has six parts:-

Page 1 - Registration and Contact Information
Your Contact Details - you must provide at least your home contact details. If you also provide a term-time email address you will receive an acknowledgement to both email addresses.

Page 2 - Secondary Education
International students - please list the highest / most relevant qualifications gained prior to university.

Page 3 - Higher Education
Degree project summary - if you need to include images or formulae you can optionally upload your project summary as a file.

Page 4 - Referees & Other Information
Referee Contact Details - Your referees will be contacted automatically by email so you must ensure that the email addresses you enter are correct.

Page 5 - Choice of Project
Project(s)
- Look at the available projects and state which one(s) you wish to apply for. If you have no particular order of preference please ensure you indicate this by ticking the box provided. You may select up to a maximum of 3 projects.

Page 6 - Equal Opportunities
The information you provide is for statistical purposes only.
