- You will need a valid email address in order to apply - the
system will use this email address as your username, so please
ensure it is correct.
- You will be able to save your application at any stage and then
come back to it later.
- The recommended browsers to use are Internet Explorer version
6 or FireFox version 1.
The form has six parts:-
Page 1 - Registration and Contact Information
Your Contact Details - you must provide at least your home
contact details. If you also provide a term-time email address you
will receive an acknowledgement to both email addresses.
Page 2 - Secondary Education
International students - please list the highest / most relevant
qualifications gained prior to university.
Page 3 - Higher Education
Degree project summary - if you need to include images or
formulae you can optionally upload your project summary as a file.
Page 4 - Referees & Other Information
Referee Contact Details - Your referees will be contacted
automatically by email so you must ensure that the email addresses
you enter are correct.
Page 5 - Choice
of Project
Project(s) - Look at the available projects and state which one(s) you wish to apply for. If you have no particular order of preference please ensure you indicate this by ticking the box provided. You may select up to a maximum of 3 projects.
Page 6 - Equal Opportunities
The information you provide is for statistical purposes only.
When you submit your application you will receive a PDF copy by
email as acknowledgement. If you have any queries about the application

Information
provided by you is held by the Institute of Cancer Research in its
original, electronic and other formats and is processed for the
purposes of administration, and management of applications, admissions,
student records, student progress and support and for statistical
purposes in accordance with relevant legislation, including the
Data Protection Act 1988. It is a condition of application that
such data will be held and processed. By submitting your application
online you automatically consent to your data being held and processed.
