why volunteer?

Volunteering gives you the opportunity to have some fun and share your knowledge, skills and expertise to help The Institute of Cancer Research run efficiently and cut costs, to allow us to concentrate funds towards vital research.

There is no limit to the ways in which you can get involved. Some volunteers devote a day each week to help out with office work, others are happy to be called on now and then to help out with special projects or collections, and others organise their own events.

Volunteering also gives you a chance to make new friends, enjoy a variety of different tasks, learn new skills (or brush up on old ones!) and can help to enhance your employment prospects.

If you are interested in helping out in any way, please do contact us by emailing , or calling 0800 7319468.
