From Court to Calendar - Greg Rusedski Serves An Ace

12 Celebrities Show They Are Cancer Aware In Their Underwear

Having raised £50,000 for Everyman last year, Marks & Spencer, Esquire magazine and the UK's leading male cancer campaign have joined forces again to photograph some of the nation's leading men for this year's limited edition "Men In Pants 2004 Calendar".

The calendar features some of the worlds top sports personalities such as Greg Rusedski, Paolo Di Canio and Jamie Baulch in addition to a host of other leading men from the TV and music industry. These include Big Brovaz, Will Mellor and Scott Maslen, who also recently won the Marks & Spencer Best Dressed Man Award 2003.

Greg Rusedski knows more about balls than most, and believes that looking after your body when you're young will greatly benefit your health later on in life. He also recommends that: "Never wear old underwear with holes in, because you never know when you'll need to pay a visit to the doctor!"

Former Chelsea and Spurs footballer and Everyman patron Jason Cundy has become heavily involved in raising cancer awareness among young people since he was diagnosed with testicular cancer six years ago. Jason says: "I know how important it is for men to not be embarrassed about these issues. Early diagnosis can make all the difference so I hope this calendar will encourage more men to think about their health and to take action if something is wrong."

The calendar appeals to both men and women and is an ideal way to increase awareness of male cancers. Women already have a great deal of influence when it comes to the purchasing of men's clothes and gifts and now it's their chance to influence their menfolk further!

Priced at only £4.00 this year's "Men In Pants Calendar" means you can give twice this festive season. It is not only an ideal gift for Christmas but Marks & Spencer will also donate £2.00 from the sale of each calendar towards supporting research, carried out at the Everyman centre. In addition a smaller version of the calendar will be inserted into the January issue of Esquire which is on sale December 11th 2003.

The Everyman campaign run by The Institute of Cancer Research, is devoted to research into the causes and cures of male-specific cancers, and their Director of Fundraising Philip Black believes the campaign has gone from strength to strength over the past five years. He says: "We are delighted to be working with M&S and Esquire for a second year. The Men in Pants calendar is an excellent way to raise more awareness of prostate and testicular cancers as well as vital funds for research into these cancers."

The "Men In Pants Calendar" is back so make 2004 a "Pantastic" one!
