Everyman - Funding research to cross out male cancerEveryman is the UK's leading male cancer campaign Testicular cancer researchBreakthroughs in treatment and an increased awareness of self examination mean that the majority of cases of testicular cancer can now be cured. However, further research into the disease is needed as it is still the most common cancer to affect younger men (15 - 45) and the incidence has increased dramatically over recent years. A key area of research is the family link as the strongest risk factor for testicular cancer is having a first degree relative (father, brother, son) with the disease.
