Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and The Institute of Cancer
Research together form the largest comprehensive cancer centre
in Europe, with over 2,700 clinical/scientific staff and an annual
spend of some £173 million.
The centre
has a clinical R & D strategy based around research programmes
targeted towards the treatment and care of cancer patients.
