Essex Blades American Football Match
Spencer Hornsey, president of the University of Essex American Football Team is running a week long male cancer awareness campaign. He hopes to raise vital awareness amongst his fellow students in the lead up to a game against their local rivals the UEA Pirates. The One Off Ball
7.30pm The Marriot Hotel, Grosvenor Square
Supporters Elliot Caldwell and Neville Askew are organising their second "One Off Ball" in aid of Everyman. In 2001 following their successful treatment for testicular cancer, Elliot and Neville hosted their first event for us, and raised a staggering £80,000 for Everyman. We are delighted to be joint beneficiary this year and believe the event will be a fantastic evening. Highlights include champagne reception, three course dinner, music by Mixed Feelings, fantastic prizes available in the auction and silent auction, virtual golf driving range, casino and celebrity attendance.

The Flora London Marathon
The 26th Flora London Marathon is on track to be the best yet for The Institute of Cancer Research and the Everyman Campaign. Taking part in the London Marathon is a truly amazing and life changing experience. No one can accurately describe the electric atmosphere, the support from your fellow runners, or the feeling of finishing in the Mall with tens of thousands of people cheering you home. One Ball 5km Fun Run

One Ball is a 5km fun run, organized exclusively for men, in aid of The Institute’s Everyman male cancer campaign. We hope hundreds of men will join us for what will be a fantastic run – and what better way to spend the last weekend before the World Cup begins. Edinburgh Marathon
With its challenging route, in one of the most picturesque cities in the world, the Edinburgh Marathon is a hugely popular event. In 2006, 10,000 are predicted to take part in the Edinburgh Marathon. The scenic route will take runners through the historic city past many famous landmarks such as The Castle, The Palace Holyrood House and the new Scottish Parliament Building, whilst also taking in several miles of breathtaking views over the Firth of Forth. The TigerPuss Challenge
Julian Coombes and 10 equally brave friends are cycling up Mont Ventoux, a 6,000 ft mountain near Avignon and one of the highest mountain stages of the Tour de France. They say they are doing for two reasons – first, because they are mad, and secondly, because they want to raise £200,000 to complete a prostate cancer research project, (the Tiger/Pussycat Project) taking place at The Institute’s Everyman Centre. Sponsored by Console Passion and Blitz Games, this retro computer gaming weekend was a fantastic event. Everyone had an excellent opportunity to play classic computer games from yesteryear. Held at the "The Wardens Cricket Club" in Kenilworth, Warwickshire we hope this will be come an annual event

TacheBack
Tacheback 2005 has been hugely successful thanks to the hundreds of men who took part this year.
