Now Everyman Is A Love God

Exclusive Purple Ronnie badge to be sold in Ann Summers in aid of Everyman Male Cancer Campaign

To launch its awareness month in June, Everyman Male Cancer Campaign has teamed up with Purple Ronnie and The Big Badge Company who have created the Love God badge, which will be sold throughout Ann Summers stores from June until stocks last.

The pin, which was exclusively designed for Everyman, features a male character in the instantly recognisable Purple Ronnie style, wearing red shorts and black shades, with the caption Love God appearing below him on the badge.   With a suggested donation of only £1, this badge is the perfect token of affection for boyfriends and husbands alike, and the money raised will help to fund research into male cancer at the Everyman Centre.

“We are delighted to be working with Everyman for the second year running.  Male cancer is an important issue that needs to be highlighted.   By selling the Love God badge we hope to raise money for the vital research and education that the Everyman campaign provides for men throughout the UK,” said Jacqueline Gold, Chief Executive of Ann Summers.

The Everyman Male Cancer Campaign was launched in 1997 to raise awareness of and funds for testicular and prostate cancer.  The incidence of male cancers is on the increase yet far less is understood about their origins than any other form of cancer.

The Love God badge is available at Ann Summers stores nationwide from June 2005 and is priced at £1.
