Professor Colin Cooper

Professor Colin Cooper is Chairman of the Section of Molecular Carcinogenesis and is located in the Male Urological Cancer Research Centre at The Institute of Cancer Research.

Professor Cooper has a special interest in molecular genetics and as a result of the work of his Section, The Institute of Cancer Research is responsible for the discovery of more cancer-related genes than any other organisation in the world.

Professor Cooper is a male cancer specialist and is Chairman of the National Cancer Research Institute's South of England Prostate Cancer Research Collaborative Centre.
