Everyman Legends Champions League

Everyman is excited to announce the launch of the inaugural Everyman Legends Champions League 5-a-side football tournament, presented by TalkSport, at the David Beckham Academy on Friday May 18, 2007.
The ‘Everyman legends champions league’ tournament pits 32 corporate teams against 8 teams of ‘legends’ in this unique tournament in an attempt to raise £50,000 for the campaign.

Dean Holdsworth (pictured above) will be bringing together 8 teams of former professional footballers including Tony Cottee, Ian Rush, Frank McAvennie, Clive Allen, Nigel Winterburn, Kerry Dixon, Neville Southall and dozens of others.
To take part in this prestigious 5 aside tournament, you can play in the pre-tournament qualifying group, where you will be coached by one of the Legends, or you can advance straight into the Legends tournament itself to play against the Legends.

Your squad can include a maximum of 10 players. In addition to being managed by a Legend, or playing against the Legends, you will receive a complimentary playing strip, an official team photo with the Legends and personalised souvenir programme. There will be a full buffet and bar for all players with complimentary beer and wine throughout the event plus a charity auction featuring unique football memorabilia and experiences in aid of the Everyman Campaign.
Each team is guaranteed to play at least three 15 minute matches, or as many as 10 if you go all the way to the final.
To play in the Legends tournament by going through the qualifying group, the cost is £1,500+ VAT, and if you want to advance straight to the Legends Tournament, the cost is £5,000 + VAT .
