Great Manchester Run 20th May 2007

This 10km run takes you from the City Centre, out to Salford Quays and past Old Trafford and then it’s back into town to finish on Manchester's Deansgate.

Only in its fifth year, but one of the worlds’ fastest growing running events with over 16,000 people taking part, it is definitely the year to experience this exciting event.

London Triathlon 4/5th August 2007

A fantastic and exciting event that both novice and experienced people can realistically take part in. The London Triathlon is the fastest growing multi-discipline sport in the UK. You can enter by yourself or as a team.


Cooking recipes, secrets, methods and techniques - Cooking secrets is a free online cooking resource that aims to help cooks finding all recipes they need. Cooking recipes that taste great.

The race consists of a swim, followed by a bike ride and then a run to finish it all off. There are three distances as well so you can choose which one best suits you. Great North Run 1st October 2006

The world's biggest half marathon celebrates its 26th year in September 2006. It is suitable for both novice runners who are looking for a challenge and the more experienced.

Hydro Active Women’s Challenge 3rd September 2006

Held in London, Liverpool and Birmingham, on the same day, this race is organised by the team responsible for the world famous London Marathon. This event is for all women of any ability; it's an unforgettable day and a fantastic experience.

In 2005, more than 22,000 women took part in Hyde Park, London and 5,000 in Birmingham city centre in 2004, and 5,000 for the first event in Liverpool.

BUPA Great South Run, 22nd October 2006

The BUPA Great South Run is a 10 mile run set in historic Portsmouth. It's a fantastic course that meanders from the City, out onto the seafront passing HMS Warrior and HMS Victory on the way.
