Everyman - Funding research to cross out male cancer

Everyman is the UK's leading male cancer campaign

Clinical trials

Clinical trials are medical research studies that involve patients. They are carried out to try and find new and improved treatments for all diseases, including cancer.

They are the only way to discover accurately if a new treatment or drug is better than the standard cancer treatments that are currently available.

There are four phases (stages) of clinical trial and every new treatment must go through all of these phases.

For further information and details of current clinical trials please visit the Cancer Backup website.
