"As I sat watching TV one night, I put my hand down my trousers to itch myself (like many men do!) and found that one of my testicles was a lot larger than normal. I hadn't noticed it before and it seemed to have come on quite suddenly. I showed the club doctor at Ipswich Town FC, was given a scan and within 48 hours I was undergoing surgery to have my testicle removed and underwent a course of chemotherapy."Luckily I had caught the cancer early enough, and despite it returning a few years later, I have now made a full recovery and my wife Lizzie and I also went on to have our second son, who was conceived naturally. "Having cancer did change my outlook on life. I tend to be a more positive person and I am keen to help others around me more than before. That's why I decided to become a patron of Everyman. 
I wanted to give something back and decided to become a patron of The Everyman Campaign after I suffered from testicular cancer. Jason Cundy
