Julian Coombes and 10 equally brave friends recently cycled up Mont Ventoux, a 6,000 ft mountain near Avignon and one of the highest mountain stages of the Tour de France.
They say they did it for two reasons – first, because they are mad, and secondly, because they want to raise £200,000 to complete a prostate cancer research project, (the Tiger/Pussycat Project) taking place at the Everyman Centre.
